Handpicked by our family, this fabulous rare early Victorian padlock is a truly striking antique piece, crafted in rosy 9ct gold and set with a large, richly coloured foiled-back garnet cabochon.

The deep red garnet has beautiful plum-red tones that glow warmly against the rosy gold. The padlock is intricately hand engraved with delicate floral scrollwork to both the front and back, showcasing the wonderful craftsmanship and attention to detail of the Victorian era. With a substantial weight of over 11g this is a lovely item that feels as good as it looks.

The padlock opens and secures well and is hallmarked to the lever. It comes complete with a 9ct gold key making this a super rare and highly collectable piece.
